Last week didn’t go as planned. It’s important to have a short memory in the world of sports, however, so let’s move on to this week. This weekend is a perfect slate of games for anyone playing in Cash games and GPP’s. Also, keep in mind that there is a slight change on both DraftKings and FanDuel because of the adjustment to the Raiders vs. Buccaneers and Seahawks vs. Cardinals matchups. That being said, good luck to everyone on the DFS landscape this weekend.

Lock: Deshaun Watson (FD:$8.0K/DK:$6.8K) – Highest scoring game on the slate? This is a perfect matchup to stack on either side. Watson has been taking it to another level over his last two games and now he will face a defense that could be missing some of their top defensive backs. The Packers’ defense is ranked near the bottom of the league against several positions.

Value: Matthew Stafford (FD:$7.3K/DK:$6.5K) – Looking for another high-scoring game? Enter the Falcons and Lions. Both teams can light up the scoreboard at any time. These two teams are both in need of wins as well. The Falcons are one of the worst teams against the quarterback position. Stafford has been streaky all season but this is a perfect game for him to post his highest point total of the year.

Running Back

Lock: Aaron Jones (FD:$8.5K/DK:$7.2K) – It was a rough week for all of the Packers their last time out. However, they will turn things around against a struggling Texans’ defense. They are currently the second-worst against team the running back position. Look for Jones to post a huge performance with 130 total yards and two touchdowns.

Value: Giovani Bernard (FD:$4.8K/DK:$4.5K) – This is a play that is hard to pass up this week. Joe Mixon is ruled out and Bernard will be highly owned this weekend in a great matchup. The Browns are a solid team against running backs, but the price and workload that Bernard will see make him a can’t-miss in this slate.

Lock: DK Metcalf (FD:$7.3K/DK:$7.2K) – This is the game that was moved to Sunday Night Football. It’s a good thing that it’s still on the slate for both sides. Metcalf has been a great play every week this season, as he has been exceptionally consistent. He will continue to build on last week’s game and have another stellar performance against a very solid Cardinals defense. He should have eight catches, 120 yards, and a touchdown when it’s all said and done.

Value: Tee Higgins (FD:$5.7K/DK:$5.3K) – It looks like the Cincinnati rookie-to-rookie connection is growing each week. The targets are very consistent for Higgins. The only thing he is missing is more touchdowns, but those will come this weekend against a struggling Cleveland pass defense.

Lock: Travis Kelce (FD:$7.9K/DK:$6.3K) – Looking to always hit that value? Well, Kelce does that nearly every single week. Even if he doesn’t log a bunch of yards, he makes up for it by scoring touchdowns. This week the Chiefs face a Broncos team that has been pretty good on defense, but the weather might play a bit of a role and Mahomes might have to drop it off to his favorite target more often than he normally would.

Value: T.J. Hockenson (FD:$5.9K/DK:$5.0K) – His targets might be all over the place, but he has made it into the end zone each of the last two games. He will find the end zone again this week and add in five catches for 70-plus yards. This will be his best game against a team that struggles to contain tight ends. It should be a high-scoring affair and Hockenson will play a factor in that.

David Johnson (FD:$6.3K/DK:$5.3K) – The rush attempts are constantly increasing for Johnson and he still gets a few passes thrown his way. This week, he will have a huge performance in what will be the highest total scoring game of Week 7. Johnson faces a Packers’ defense that struggles against the running back position. This price is perfect for him to not only hit his value but exceed it with huge numbers.
