Bears’ WR Javon Wims Suspended Two Games for Throwing Punches vs. Saints

Bears’ WR Javon Wims will appeal his 2-game suspension for punching Saints’ CB C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

The NFL announced today that Chicago Bears’ wide receiver Javon Wims has been suspended two games for his actions in the team’s Week 8 contest against the Saints.

Wims’s actions seemed to be unprovoked at the time, but he reportedly outlined what set him off when talking to team officials.

Wims will appeal his suspension, according to Ian Rapoport.
