Injuries continue to pile up for the Chicago Bears. The offensive line was further decimated with COVID-19 setbacks yesterday. Today, news broke that quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is dealing with a shoulder injury.
Trubisky took just one snap in Sunday’s contest against the Saints, but that lone play is when the injury reportedly occurred. This clip from NFL Network contains footage of the play:
It’s currently unclear how severe Trubisky’s shoulder ailment is, but Adam Jahns of The Athletic followed up the previous reports with some uninspiring commentary.
This article will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.
UPDATE: 11/4/20, 5:17 PM CT – Although there is no official timeline, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that Trubisky will be sidelined for at least a few weeks.
