It was announced earlier today that Bears’ defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris’s season has come to an end due to a shoulder injury that requires surgery.
Robertson-Harris played in a total of eight games for the Bears in 2020 and did not record a sack. He did have ten total tackles and it’s safe to say his numbers do not reflect his ferocity on the field.
Notably in his four years with the Chicago Bears, Robertson-Harris totaled 7.5 sacks and nine tackles-for-loss while playing an average 36% of defensive snaps.
Although the Bears are quite strong at the defensive tackle position, his skills and talent provided depth in a crucial component for the defense.
Robertson-Harris is a free agent after this season and with the money the Bears have already committed to the defense, it’s likely that he’s played his final snap in Chicago.
