This morning, the Chicago White Sox announced their new radio home.
ESPN Chicago is no stranger to broadcasting White Sox baseball, as they previously carried games from 1999-2005.
The network will broadcast all White Sox regular-season and postseason contests plus select Spring Training games. Additionally, ESPN 1000 will air a ‘White Sox Weekly’ show that will run for one hour per week during the offseason and two hours in duration during the season.
ESPN 1000 replaces WGN Radio 720 — which broadcasted the 2018-2020 seasons — as the flagship station of the White Sox. The first game broadcast on ESPN 1000 under the new agreement will be the White Sox Spring Training opener on February 27th, 2021.

Hopefully, ESPN 1000 can bring back that 2005 good luck!
