Bears’ David Montgomery Ruled Out Against Minnesota on Monday Night
David Montgomery has been ruled OUT for the Bears’ Monday night matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
Bears tailback David Montgomery has been ruled out against division rival Minnesota on Monday night.
Matt Nagy said Lamar Miller has a chance to fill Montgomery’s role. Miller, however, is still on the practice squad. That said, it would be surprising if he is not active before Monday’s contest.
Other options out of the backfield include Cordarrelle Patterson, Ryan Nall, and Artavis Pierce.
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as Montgomery did not practice all week. The injury bug continues to haunt the Bears.
Other reported injuries include John Jenkins, Sherrick McManis, and Mitchell Trubisky, who were all ruled out as well. Offensive lineman Sam Mustipher is listed as doubtful. Tight end Cole Kmet, offensive lineman Jason Spriggs, linebacker Barkevious Mingo, and wide receiver Allen Robinson are all questionable for Monday’s game, too.
We’ll see if this list gets shorter on Sunday.
