It’s clear the Chicago Bulls are retooling their backcourt. Earlier today, they did not extend Kris Dunn a qualifying offer and now reports are surfacing that the Bulls will not extend a qualifying offer to Shaq Harrison either.

Shaq Harrison’s qualifying offer was only $2,025,705, but the Chicago Bulls decided to save the cash and not offer that. Now, this does not completely rule out the possibility of Harrison returning to Chicago, as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Over the last few years, Shaq Harrison has seen some spot starts with the Bulls and at one time played himself into the rotation on a regular basis. HE possesses a ton of athletic ability and is an above-average defender, but it seems Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley are starting to shape the roster in their vision.
