Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire Additions
Patch up your fantasy football roster ahead of Week 11 with these waiver wire additions.
The NFL season continues chugging along as we’ve already arrived at Week 11. This week was full of ups and downs, from the game-winning catch by DeAndre Hopkins to Nick Chubb crushing fantasy managers by running out of bounds at the one-yard line. In Week 11, the four teams on bye are the Giants, Bears, Bills, and 49ers. Here are my top waiver pickups for the week.
With the injury to Drew Brees likely sidelining him for a few weeks, Jameis Winston might just have a chance to return to fantasy glory. Remember, Winston was the QB3 in 2019. His ceiling is going to be capped with the presence of Taysom Hill, but the upcoming schedule for the Saints is extremely favorable. They will face the Falcons, Broncos, Falcons (again), and Eagles over the next four weeks. With the growing number of superflex and 2QB leagues, Winston must be rostered.
The Miami Dolphins have released Jordan Howard after he was a healthy scratch for Sunday’s bout against the Chargers. Salvon Ahmed was the feature back this weekend, seeing 75% of the team’s total snaps. It’s possible that Matt Breida returns to action this week, but if he doesn’t Ahmed should be a safe play in Week 11.
After his Week 1 magic, many people rushed to the waiver wire to pick up Nyheim Hines. I wasn’t a believer at that point and thought that those going after Hines were just chasing points. Until this week, that notion had proven to be true. The presence of Jonathan Taylor limited Hines’ role, but it looks as if Hines is clearly the best back on that team given the currently scenario. Phillip Rivers loves to target the running back, which gives Hines even more of a bump.
