White Sox, Jace Fry Settle on 2021 Salary

The White Sox and LHP Jace Fry have settled on a contract of $862,500 for the 2021 season, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

Fry posted an 0-1 record, 3.66 ERA, and 0.1 bWAR over 19.2 innings in 18 games during the shortened 2020 season.

The 27-year-old lefty has shown flashes of effectiveness over parts of four seasons on the South Side, but he will need to stay healthy and harness his command to be a more reliable option out of the White Sox bullpen.
