It is fantasy football playoff time! Congratulations to everyone who has made it this far, but your work isn’t done yet. Whether you have a first-round bye or you are in a fight against Goliath this week, keep grinding. Evaluate your opponent, maybe he needs a running back start this week or a defense off waivers. Play it smart give out no free wins here. If that means picking up every defense on waivers so your opponent can’t start one, then so be it. For the playoffs, I like to make sure all high-end handcuff running backs are rostered. If so, then here are the guys I will be picking up this week.

T.Y. Hilton

Well, he’s not quite finished yet. T.Y. Hilton has come on in a big way the last two weeks, scoring a touchdown in each week while also topping 18 fantasy points. He gets a favorable matchup this week against Las Vegas and then next week he faces the Texans again, a team he just torched for 110 yards. Hilton might be that shot you need to get to the finish line.

Tim Patrick

Tim Patrick is currently the WR36 in PPR platforms, but for some reason he’s only rostered in 26% of leagues. He is putting up solid numbers even with the struggles that the Broncos offense is facing. His ceiling isn’t the moon, but with Buffalo and Carolina up the next two weeks, I think Patrick is a solid flex play with a safe floor.

Logan Thomas

This past week, Logan Thomas put up a beautiful 9-98-1 stat line against the Steelers. Thomas isn’t a flashy play and Washington isn’t exactly an explosive offense, but with the wasteland at the TE position, Thomas should be able to bring competent production. His playoff schedule consists of San Francisco, Seattle, and Carolina, none of which are extremely scary. Also, with Antonio Gibson sidelined, I expect Washington to be forced to air the ball out a little more in the coming weeks.
