The NFL season is coming to a close, but yet it is still so wide open. As always, a few players are returning and it will be interesting to see what impact they will have on their respective teams. Make sure to stay up to date with all the moves, even on Sunday morning. In this season of ever-changing players, we will keep you up to date on Twitter. Good luck this weekend and let’s all win some money.
Lock: Russell Wilson (FD:$9.0K/DK:$7.9K) – The Seahawks have been struggling, but there is no better way to get back on track than facing the worst team in the NFL, the Jets. Some might be scared because the Seahawks could go up big early in the game. However, the Jets are a scrappy team and do not go away. Wilson will get back to his early-season level of performance with 300-plus yards, four touchdowns, and around 50 rushing yards in this game.
Value: Kirk Cousins (FD:$7.5K/DK:$6.2K) – This pick feels weird, as normally I would advise not to use Cousins. But over the last five games, he has been very dependable. The Minnesota quarterback will face a Buccaneers defense that struggles against the pass and is very good against the run. Expect Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson to have some big games as well. Cousins should finish the day with around 300 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Lock: James Robinson (FD:$8.0K/DK:$7.5K) – Even on a bad team, this workhorse running back gets his share of touches. When Jacksonville and Tennessee played earlier in this season, Robinson went off for over 100 yards and a touchdown. The Titans’ defense is no better at this point in the season, so expect similar production from Robinson in this game as well. He will put together an even better performance in this one: 130 total yards and a touchdown.
Value: J.D. McKissic (FD:$5.3K/DK:$4.9K) – It looks as if Antonio Gibson will be a no-go in this game. So, where does the Football Team go with the rushing game? Many are going to plug in Peyton Barber for the cheaper price and work he had last week. However, it seems as if the team is going to lean more on McKissic overall this week. Even if it’s just a few more carries in this game, the amount of work he sees in the passing game will help him reach his value easily in this contest.
Lock: Brandon Aiyuk (FD:$6.7K/DK:$5.4K) – The 49ers’ rookie wide receiver is flying a bit under the radar this season. Everyone wants to talk about how good Justin Jefferson has been, but Aiyuk has been just as good over the last few games. Now, this game against the Washington Football Team is an interesting one as both teams have pretty good all-around defenses. Both teams are still fighting for playoff spots and will need to throw the ball more to get into the end zone, so expect another big game for the rookie.
Value: Allen Lazard (FD:$5.8K/DK:$5.0K) – The Packers look like they are wanting to get more players involved leading into the playoffs. With a perfect match up against a bad Lions’ defense, there is no better time to get their number two wide receiver some more work. Will the Packers take it easy if they go up against big? Nope, they will keep on laying it on their opponents. Expect eight catches, 90 yards, and a touchdown for Lazard in this one.
Lock: Travis Kelce (FD:$8.2K/DK:$7.4K) – Looking for that safe play? That is always Kelce. The Chiefs’ offense is just unstoppable. If you are looking for the safe floor play at this position, lock this one in. There’s always the possibility that Kelce could also go off for way more. Some people worry that the Chiefs will get up and stick to running the ball, but that doesn’t fully seem like their go-to move.
Value: Cole Kmet (FD:$4.6K/DK:$2.9K) – It looks like the Bears’ rookie is finally taking over that number one tight end spot in Chicago. Last week he saw a massive increase in his workload, and that should continue this week against a Texans team that ranks near the bottom of the league against the position. This game could turn into a shootout and the Bears may need to lean on Kmet even more so in this one. Expect a six-catch, 50-yard performance topped off by a touchdown for Kmet.
#CrackUm Player Of The Week
Ezekiel Elliott (FD:$7.6K/DK:$6.6K) – The star running back is due for a major breakout game, right? That is correct, and it will finally happen against a Bengals defense that ranks near the bottom of the league against the running back position. Elliott’s issue has not really been about getting touches, it is more about the yardage and scoring production. He will have no issues in that department this week and the Cowboys should notch a win. Expect a 20-plus touch game, 120 yards, and two touchdowns for Zeke.
