When the Bulls visited the Washington Wizards on New Year’s Eve, four Chicago players sat out due to “health and safety protocols”. As the calendar flipped to 2021, some clarity rose from that situation.

Ahead of tonight’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, Bulls’ head coach Billy Donovan announced that forward Chandler Hutchison has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bulls will obviously be without Hutchison for the foreseeable future after the positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

Additionally, Lauri Markkanen, Tomas Satoransky, and Ryan Arcidiacono — the other three players who missed Thursday evening’s game — have returned to Chicago and are in quarantine.

The Bulls’ shorthanded roster was able to pull out a victory in the nation’s capital last night, but they’ll face a much tougher task when they visit the Bucks tonight at 7:00 PM CT.
