Four prop bets to lay down for a massive Bears vs. Packers matchup.

It all comes down to Week 17. The Chicago Bears need to beat the Green Bay Packers or have the Arizona Cardinals lose to the Los Angeles Rams if they want to make the playoffs. Chicago controls their own fate, so they’ll surely lay it all on the line in today’s rivalry game. Make your gameday experience even more exciting by placing some prop bets. Here’s where the On Tap Bets team sees value in today’s game.

David Montgomery O/U 78.5 Rushing Yards

David Montgomery has finally seen an uptick in touches out of the backfield over the last few weeks. Since Week 12, he has crossed the 78.5-yard threshold four out of five weeks. The Packers allow 4.6 yards per carry to opposing running backs. Combine this with reasonable play-calling and the Bears will hand the ball to Montgomery more than enough. Besides, if the Bears want to have a shot at securing a victory, the offensive production cannot come solely from Mitchell Trubisky.

Pick: David Montgomery Over 78.5 Rushing Yards

Allen Robinson O/U 5.5 Receptions

As most sensible Bears fans know, Allen Robinson is rightfully Trubisky’s favorite target. In fact, even in some of the games that Nick Foles started, Robinson only fell below 5.5 receptions on two occasions. The Packers only have ten interceptions on the year. Even with Jaire Alexander on him, expect Robinson to see plenty of action. 5.5 receptions should be more than attainable.

Pick: Allen Robinson Over 5.5 Receptions

Aaron Rodgers O/U 295.5 Passing Yards

Aaron Rodgers has not recorded over 300 passing yards since Week 11. He did seemingly eviscerate the Bears defense by throwing four touchdowns in their Week 12 matchup, but he finished the game with just 211 passing yards. Expect a similar performance, even with the absences of Buster Skrine and Jaylon Johnson from Chicago’s defensive backfield. Rodgers most likely will not struggle too much against the Bears secondary, but expect an amped-up defense to keep the pressure on him with David Bakhtiari sidelined. Both factors will help keep this number lower.

Pick: Aaron Rodgers Under 295.5 Passing Yards

Value Pick – Davante Adams First Touchdown +500

Davante Adams receives the lion’s share of Rodgers’ targets, and he has turned that into 17 touchdowns this season. If the Packers march downfield right away, the ball will be going to one of the best receivers in the league. If you have some extra scratch, Adams is worth this prop bet.

Pick: Davante Adams First Touchdown
