It’s time to win some money playing DFS this weekend. The Wild Card Round is underway and we have a fun slate of games for Sunday. Some of these plays could help differentiate your lineup from other players and win you that money and. With just three games on the slate, it’s imperative that you step outside the box and get creative. Good luck to everyone this weekend.
Ben Roethlisberger (FD:$7.5K/DK:$6.1K) – Big Ben marks the middle ground of quarterbacks this week and he will be a good play against a Browns defense that is struggling. His ownership should be low as well, so many people are going to be looking to pay up at this position throughout the playoffs. Looking back on his most recent performance, which came against a formidable Colts defense, Roethlisberger put together one of his best games of the season to lock up this number two seed. That trend will continue this week against a very vulnerable Browns team.
Derrick Henry (FD:$10.2K/DK:$9.2K) – It seems as if this man is unstoppable! The more carries he gets the more dangerous he will become. The Ravens have a pretty solid defense, but it doesn’t seem like anyone can stop this year’s leading rusher. The volume of work he receives seems to always help him hit his value. In a previous matchup against the Ravens, Henry was right around that 20-point mark. This time, he will enjoy similar figures but he has a high upside to score more than once.
Anthony Miller (FD:$4.7K/DK:$3.3K) – The Bears are in a rough spot after getting into the playoffs. Darnell Mooney, who had become a top target for Mitchell Trubisky, suffered an injury in Week 17 and has been ruled out for this Wild Card Round matchup. That absence opens up a major opportunity for Anthony Miller, who has been quiet as of late, to see more work. Guess when Miller put together his best performance of the season? Yup, against the Saints in Week 8. Expect more of the same this week, but this time he will find the end zone.
Jonnu Smith (FD:$5.2K/DK:$3.2K) – Everyone knows how hard it’s been to find DFS value at the tight end position throughout the season. While things get even tougher in the playoffs, the Titans have you covered this week. In Smith’s previous matchup against the Ravens, he was about to get into the end zone and scored ten fantasy points. The one thing that helps Smith is his efficiency. This weekend will be no different with the Ravens trying to slow everything else down against the Titans’ offense. That will open up space for Smith to have himself a solid game.
#CrackUm Player Of The Week
Diontae Johnson (FD:$7.0K/DK:$6.2K) – The volume of work that Johnson sees week in and week out is exactly what you are looking for. Even though he didn’t put up the receptions last week, he still had the yardage. He typically sees ten or more targets in a game, and that theme should continue against a Browns team that will be without their head coach. The Steelers are starting to roll again on offense, which is nothing but good news for Johnson. Expect a nine-catch, 100-yard performance that includes a touchdown.
