Bears Bets Breakdown: Prop Bets for Bears at Saints
Four prop bets for the Bears vs. Saints Wild Card Weekend matchup.
It’s time for postseason football! Last week, the Bears’ offense was nonexistent. Allen Robinson’s prop bet for receptions did not even hit and he hauls in an average of 5.2 receptions per game. At least Rodgers did not have too many passing yards to salvage the under on that prop bet. The Bears will have to pull some magic to defeat the 12-4 New Orleans Saints. You might as well pad your pocket in the process. Let’s jump right into this week’s Bears prop bets breakdown.
Allen Robinson O/U 5.5 Receptions
Last week, Robinson was not a main target for Mitchell Trubisky seeing as he only had five, but this is a perfect bounce-back spot with Darnell Mooney inactive. Robinson gets the main share of passes from Mitch on a normal week. New Orleans has one of the best past defenses in the NFL, but in the previous head-to-head meeting, A-Rob managed six receptions.
Pick: Allen Robinson Over 5.5 Receptions
Jimmy Graham Receiving Touchdown
With Mooney out, Trubisky’s options are limited at the receiver position. However, he loves to throw to his tight ends in the red zone. Graham has eight touchdowns on the season, and they sometimes come in couples. Expect Robinson to see plenty of targets, but it may be hard to stretch the field. The secondary options will be available for bulk yardage.
Pick: Jimmy Graham Receiving TD +275
Mitchell Trubisky O/U 0.5 Interceptions
I hate to do this, but Trubisky has eight interceptions on the season. The Saints tout a league-leading 18 interceptions, so the two together possibly make for a nightmare if he makes a couple of mistakes. Marcus Williams might cause some issues on a deep ball to Robinson or Anthony Miller.
Pick: Mitch Trubisky Over 0.5 Interceptions
Value Pick – Jimmy Graham 2+ Touchdowns +2000
As stated above, Graham has multiple games with more than one touchdown as a result of Bears’ quarterbacks frequently targeting him in the red zone. Look for that to possibly happen again today. The Saints have a strong rush defense, so if the Bears cannot establish the run game with David Montgomery, the ball will be in the air more. In the case of a red zone third-down conversion, Graham may be the first choice in the air after Robinson.
Pick: Jimmy Graham 2+ Touchdowns
