In another crushing blow ahead of their Wild Card Weekend matchup, the Chicago Bears have officially listed Jaylon Johnson as inactive vs. the Saints.

Along with Roquan Smith and Buster Skrine, missing Jaylon Johnson will severely impact the Bears’ defense. It completely hinders their capabilities in the passing game and makes stopping the Saints an even more daunting task.

It appears as though Duke Shelley and Josh Woods will be filling in for the two key defensive vacancies for the Bears. The offense will also be without Darnell Mooney, which will make completing the deep, explosive plays much more difficult.

With Jaylon Johnson inactive today, it will be very important to keep an eye on the Bears’ secondary. That will likely be a point of exploitation for Drew Brees and company.
