Illinois basketball was originally scheduled to make a trip to East Lansing to take on the Michigan State Spartans next Saturday, January 23rd. Unfortunately, the game has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests in the Michigan State program.
Per Head Coach Brad Underwood, there is a chance of a non-conference rescheduled game in its place, but the hurdle is COVID-19 testing.
After a devastating loss to Ohio State, the Illini look to fix their most glaring issue of falling behind early in games. The team takes on Penn State in Champaign tomorrow.
