Tomas Satoransky and Chandler Hutchison returned to practice for the Chicago Bulls today.
Both Chandler Hutchison and Tomas Satoransky have been sidelined since December 29th, 2020 due to positive COVID-19 tests. Getting both players back into the mix will significantly help the Bulls’ second unit. Veteran Otto Porter Jr. has been dealing with back issues and rookie standout Patrick Williams has a minor hip injury, which leaves his status for Friday’s game up in the air.
Hutchison will provide much-needed wing depth with his eventual return. Hutch made the most of the minutes that Billy Donovan afforded him and solidified himself as part of the rotation.
Satoranskty brings veteran leadership and playmaking ability at the point guard position off the bench to lead the second unit. In three games this season, Sato is averaging 6 PPG, 6 APG, and 2.3RPG while playing 22.7 MPG.
With the Bulls having a couple of days to regroup before they visit the Hornets on Friday, getting these two players back in the mix is certainly welcome news.
