The Chicago Blackhawks continue to deal with COVID-19 issues. The team canceled practice this morning due to potential exposure, and now two more players will enter the NHL’s COVID Protocol.

Carpenter and Beaudin now join Alex DeBrincat, Adam Boqvist, and Lucas Wallmark on the COVID list. Head coach Jeremy Colliton previously stated Boqvist and DeBrincat would be out at least two weeks after their placement on the list but did not make the same specification regarding Wallmark.

Both Carpenter and Beaudin played last night as the Blackhawks fell 2-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the opening game of their weekend homestand. There is currently no update about a possible cancellation of Sunday’s game or contests beyond that. Check back for details as they become available.
