The Chicago Bears announced a new addition to their defensive coaching staff on Tuesday, naming Mike Adams as their assistant defensive backs coach.

Adams spent over 15 years in the NFL as a player for numerous teams including the San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers, and most notably, the Indianapolis Colts. He received back-to-back Pro Bowl honors with that AFC franchise and then concluded his 16-year, 30-interception career with the Houston Texans in 2019. Watch below as Adams recorded a pick-six against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Adams will assist new defensive coordinator Sean Desai in picking up where Chuck Pagano left off with this Bears unit that has seen a bit of dropoff from two seasons ago.
