
The Lonzo Ball to the Chicago Bulls rumors continue to gain traction as of late. According to The Action Network’s Matt Moore, the Bulls are currently the front-runners to land the Pelicans’ point guard. Moore writes:
“Multiple league sources told Action Network that Chicago is (currently) the most likely landing spot for Ball. That’s based on multiple factors, including the preference of both Ball and his agent, Rich Paul, Chicago’s interest in making a roster move and the Pelicans’ openness to discussions.”
Where there is smoke, there is typically fire. Are Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley planning on trading for the oldest Ball brother? If they are, it would certainly benefit Zach LaVine and the Bulls’ offense by adding not only a true playmaking guard in the lineup, but also one of the league’s best perimeter defenders.
Ever since trade rumors emerged regarding Ball, the New Orleans’ guard has posted the following figures:
Nonetheless, a new team, a new city, and a new look, fast-paced offense would be beneficial for Lonzo Ball. At this time, there is no telling what the Bulls would be willing to offer. But bringing in a guard like Lonzo would help set the tone for the offense and surely take some of the pressure off of LaVine.
