According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Chicago Cubs have signed free-agent outfielder Jake Marisnick.
Marisnick has bounced between the minors and the majors since 2013. He has played for the Miami Marlins, Houston Astros, and New York Mets. Throughout his career, Marisnick carries a .229/.281/.385 slash line with 56 home runs and 183 RBIs.
Marisnick is best known for his time with the Astros where he won a World Series in 2017. He hopes to become a regular in the outfield rotation for the Chicago Cubs.
