Hakkarainen, Entwistle Headed Back to Rockford

The Blackhawks have returned Mikael Hakkarainen and MacKenzie Entwistle to the IceHogs. Both player were on the taxi squad.

After making a few additions to their taxi squad group, the Chicago Blackhawks have made more corresponding moves on Sunday.

Forwards Mikael Hakkarainen and MacKenzie Entwistle are headed back to the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawks AHL affiliate.

The move comes after Alex DeBrincat, Adam Boqvist, Lucas Wallmark and Ryan Carpenter made their way out of COVID protocol and rejoined the NHL roster.

Rockford, after playing the Iowa Wild on Saturday, will host the Chicago Wolves on Tuesday night.
