Russell Wilson Would Consider a Trade to the Chicago Bears

The Bears are one of four possible trade destinations that Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson would consider.

In the early stages of the NFL offseason, the rumor mill continues to churn. As reported today by Adam Schefter, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson would be open to going to the Chicago Bears if he were to consider a trade. Now, it is worth noting that Russell Wilson does not want to leave Seattle, but if he did, the Bears are a destination that seems attractive to the 32-year-old.

The Bears are obviously in need of a quarterback in the worst way as their contention window is dwindling down. What would it cost to land a star such as Russell Wilson? Multiple first-round picks would obviously have to be on the table, which could hurt the Bears because they have other roster holes that need to be addressed. It’s a situation that is worth monitoring because Bears’ general manager Ryan Pace likes to make big splashes.

The seven-time Pro Bowl quarterback could solve a ton of the Bears’ problems. The front office just needs to ask themselves if it’s worth pulling the trigger to bring the former Wisconsin Badger to the Windy City.
