In light of the announcement that Wrigley Field will be allowed 20% capacity of fans, the Cubs are finding a way to thank health care workers. On Opening Day, the Cubs will host health care workers in the bleachers as a thank you for their tireless efforts during the pandemic.

The Advocate Aurora Health workers will be in the bleachers celebrating Opening Day with the Wrigley faithful. This is a neat decision by the Cubs to thank those who have worked harder than ever before due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Cubs open their season at Wrigley Field on April 1 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is scheduled for 1:20 PM CST.
