The Chicago Bears gained two additional draft picks on Wednesday afternoon. The league awarded the Bears two compensatory sixth-rounders — picks #221 and #228 — for the 2021 NFL Draft.

The picks come as a result of losing Nick Williams and Chase Daniel in free agency during the 2020 offseason. Both players left the Bears for the Detroit Lions.

As things currently stand, the Bears have eight picks in total heading into the draft.
