A busy week of work continues at Halas Hall. On Friday, the Bears agreed to a deal with yet another member of the special teams. Just one day after inking Cairo Santos to a new deal, the Bears kicker’s counterpart, punter Pat O’Donnell, is back in the Windy City on a one-year contract.

O’Donnell was selected in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. The 30-year-old punter has been a mainstay for the Bears’ special teams since. O’Donnell, nicknamed Mega Punt, also serves as the holder on field goal and extra-point attempts. He occasionally handles kickoff duties as well.

Fun fact: The seven-year veteran has thrown a touchdown pass as well.
