After closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and some renovations, Wiener’s Circle hopes to reopen this summer. The famous hot dog stand is looking to add a bar and convert the parking lot into an outdoor patio, per Eater Chicago.

The stand’s charm has always been the employees’ vulgar antics and insults that keep the regulars coming back. Although Wiener’s Circle has been experimenting with take-out gimmicks and delivery options, the stand is looking forward to returning to some level of normalcy.

The addition of the patio and bar will bring a new ambiance to the famous Lincoln Park hot dog stand. Along with the external renovation, the establishment is having pipes and windows replaced as well, per longtime manager Evelyn Morris.
The Chicago staple’s reopening will be a welcomed sight for Chicagoans. Nature will feel as if it’s feeling when the Weiner’s Circle staff are roasting customers and cooking hot dogs again.
