According to a report from Kevin O’Conner of The Ringer, Lonzo Ball is once again being linked to the Chicago Bulls. Ball has previously been linked to the Bulls, but a trade never came to fruition. The trade package that the Chicago Bulls are reportedly offering centers around Tomas Satoransky and second-round picks.
Lonzo would bring a skillset to the Chicago Bulls that they’ve lacked for years now: a legitimate NBA point guard. That said, it was reported within the article that the Atlanta Hawks are also attempting to obtain Lonzo Ball. The talks have reportedly centered around guard/forward Cam Reddish.
The New Orleans Pelicans are seeking a first-round pick and a young talent. Atlanta’s trade package may be the more enticing one. If Atlanta were to offer Reddish and a lottery-protected first round pick, the Chicago Bulls would have to think fast to try and upgrade their trade offer. Keep in mind, Lonzo Ball is going to be a free agent at the end of this season, so this could be potentially a try-out for the 23-year-old guard to see where and how he fits in with an up and coming team.
