On Monday, NBC Sports Network announced some additions to their national TV broadcast schedule. Two of those games will involve the Chicago Blackhawks, a team familiar with the national broadcast.

The move was announced on the heels of a four-game losing streak for the Blackhawks, but the team has still exceeded expectations. Many believed a full-blown rebuild season was in the works, but the Blackhawks currently sit at 14-13-5, good for fifth place in the Central Division. The additional two dates on NBCSN — April 1st vs. Carolina and April 29th vs. Florida — will bring the team to a grand total of five national games down the home stretch of the regular season.
