Chicago Bulls’ forward Garrett Temple is listed as available for tonight’s contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers, giving the Bulls some more depth and veteran leadership. He has been inactive for the past six games due to a left ankle sprain. If Temple plays tonight, it will be his first in-game action since March 12th’s loss to the Miami Heat.
On the season, Temple is averaging 8.5 points per game on 42.5% shooting and a 34.3% clip from three. He’s playing 27.9 minutes per game, tied for the second-most he has averaged for his career. For the Bulls, it did not seem as though Temple’s presence was necessarily missed. They went 3-3 in the six games Temple was sidelined. Still, his health as the trade deadline approaches could prove instrumental as the Bulls consider what moves they may make.
