Per ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the Bears have re-signed safety Tashaun Gipson to a one-year deal. Gipson, who started in all 16 games last season, finished the year with two interceptions, eight deflected passes, one fumble recovery, 48 solo tackles and a 98% snap count. The dollar amount of Gipson’s contract has yet to be disclosed.

His veteran presence was a welcomed addition last year. Bears fans should be excited to see how Gipson and Eddie Jackson perform under new defensive coordinator Sean Desai.
