Illinois-based Ravinia Brewing Company has officially released an opening date for their new taproom, located in Chicago’s booming Logan Square.
Block Club Chicago reports that the new location, located at 2601 W. Diversey Ave., will be open for business starting on May 7th, 2021.
“[build] a community gathering place for neighbors, families, and beer lovers of all shapes and sizes… and the beer would be glorious!”– Ravinia website
The brewery initially operated out of Highland Park but announced in August of 2019 that it had purchased a long-empty Logan Square building that formerly housed Ale Syndicate.
Ravinia quickly started brewing their beer in the new location, but original plans for an accompanying taproom were delayed.
Ravinia has delightfully teased fans through social media for weeks with sneak peeks of their new home, and by all accounts, it looks to be a thing of beauty.
The taproom also includes a “hidden gem” in the form of an outdoor patio not visible from the street.
Not only will the taproom focus on brewing beer, but it will also continue the Ravinia legacy of pairing its brews with artisan tacos, burritos, and quesadillas.
Logan Square has quickly become the place to be in the Chicago craft beer scene, but there’s always room for one more.
For residents of the area, this one more is shaping up to be good!
