Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan fielded questions today before the Bulls game against the New York Knicks. When Donovan was asked about shooting guard Zach LaVine, he said once they get through the weekend, they’ll have a clearer picture.
Zach LaVine has been out since April 16th due to NBA Health and Safety protocols. Since he has been sidelined, the Bulls are 4-3 in that span. Before LaVine was sidelined, the first-time All-Star was averaging 27.5 PPG, 5.1 RPG, and 5.1 APG. Zach did all that while shooting 50% from the field and 41% from downtown.
The Chicago Bulls are attempting to get back into the NBA Playoffs “play-in” round. They are currently one game out of tenth place. Missing a player of Zach’s caliber during a playoff push can’t be easy, so hopefully Zach will be cleared to return soon.
