uNDrafted 2021: Notre Dame’s Undrafted Players

Notre Dame saw 9 of 14 players who declared get drafted. Where did some of the other former Irish players go?

Notre Dame had nine of their 14 players that declared for the 2021 NFL Draft get drafted. Liam Eichenberg (Round 2, Pick 42), Aaron Banks (Round 2, Pick 48), Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (Round 2, Pick 52), Tommy Tremble (Round 3, Pick 83), Robert Hainsey (Round 3, Pick 95), Ian Book (Round 4, Pick 133), Daelin Hayes (Round 5, Pick 171), Adetokunbo Ogundeji (Round 5, Pick 182), and Ben Skowronek (Round 7, Pick 249) were all selected by new organizations. Unfortunately the entire class did not get to celebrate being drafted.


Defensive back Shaun Crawford was signed post-draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. Nick McCloud, another defensive back, has joined the Buffalo Bills post-draft.

Finally, Javon McKinley, Tommy Kraemer, and Brock Wright all were signed by the Detroit Lions, joining Notre Dame alumni like Julian and Romeo Okwara, and Alize Mack.
