The White Sox have announced that Lucas Giolito will start one of the doubleheader games on Friday, Lance Lynn will start Saturday, and Carlos Rodón will be pushed back to Sunday.

Rodón has experienced hamstring tightness but should be good to go on Sunday. The team would rather let Rodón pitch later due to the injury concerns.

According to manager Tony La Russa, Michael Kopech looks to start one of the seven inning doubleheader games on Friday. This is yet to be confirmed but based on the above schedule, it would make the most sense.

The Sox look to improve on their 20-13 record with an MLB-best +59 run differential. Chicago will look to push the Royals further back this weekend during their four-game set in three days.
