It seems as if the 2021 version of Double or Nothing is the story of revenge for all those involved. Following this show seems like it will be a new era for AEW and this show will help close out some feuds that are at the end. Will we get any surprises or debuts on this show? We will know very soon!
Buy-In Match for the NWA Women’s World Championship: Riho vs. Serena Deeb(C)
Yes, we saw this back in March during the Women’s eliminator tournament. It was one of the best of that event too. This time, Serena is putting her NWA championship on the line against someone who she recently lost to. So, as a Buy-In match, this will be another fantastic showing. But this time around with a little bit of a new attitude, the current champion will win this one.
Winner: Serena Deeb
Brian Cage vs. “Hangman” Adam Page
Just a month ago these two had a match that surprised many. Hangman came into that contest as the number one ranked men’s wrestler for several weeks. But, he finally lost a match in a bit of a shocker. Now for a few weeks since that Team Taz has been a thorn in his side. But, it is time for revenge for Page.
Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page
Sting & Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page
Over the last few weeks, the issues between these four have been ramping up. Now that Sky and Page cost Darby Allin his TNT Championship business has become personal. They will get their revenge this weekend in a match that might surprise some people.
Winner: Sting & Darby Allin
Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo
This seems like the classic newcomer facing the veteran, but this feud has a lot of bad blood. That’s all thanks to QT Marshall. Now it is personal, so we all know Cody will dig deep in this match. But will he have the power to match up with Ogogo, who is a former Olympic medalist in boxing? Thus far in his short time in AEW has been knocking everyone down and out.
Winner: Anthony Ogogo
TNT Championship Match: Lance Archer vs. Miro(C)
This will be a heavy-hitting contest, unlike anything we have witnessed in the first two years of AEW. It seems like it will be too early for Miro to lose his title, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get a good match from these two. At the end of the show, this match will be a lot better than people expected.
Casino Battle Royale
This is always an interesting match at any of their PPVs. Will we get a debuting superstar in this match as we have seen over the last few? Will they be from another company or a current free agent. The superstar with the best chance to win this will be Christian Cage, due to him being one of the best veterans in the Battle Royale. He will continue his path of outworking everyone and finally earn his title match.
Winner: Christian Cage
Stadium Stampede: Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle
As The Pinnacle said a few weeks back, “This will be no joke of a Stadium Stampede”. We all remember last year’s match and how eventful it was. Well, this year won’t be like that, it will be a fight for survival for the Inner Circle. The biggest question going into this match is Jericho and his injury. That is not an ideal way to start for his team in this match, but the rest of them will fight until the bitter end for each other.
Winner: Inner Circle
AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D vs. Hikaru Shida(C)
Just over a year ago we witnessed this match and it changed everything. It was a star-making moment for Baker and has brought her to the top of her game. But, she can’t look past Shida who has held the title for a little over a year now and is ready to finally have fans back in the arena to show off to them. The time is coming to an end for the current Champion and she may have officially met her match this weekend and we will see a changing of the guard in the women’s division.
Winner: Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston vs. The Young Bucks(C)
No one else is looking for revenge more than Kingston and Moxley. With everything they have been through the last few months, there would be no better revenge than taking those tag team titles off The Young Bucks. That will not be easy. Since their shift in attitude, they find any way possible to win, no matter what the cost is. The team who outsmarts the other is what this one will come down to.
Winner: Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston
AEW World Championship Three-Way Match: Orange Cassidy vs. PAC vs. Kenny Omega(C)
We are in for a treat on this one. To start, Three-Way matches are not very common in AEW. From there, we have a little bit of everything in this match for styles. During Dynamite this week Orange Cassidy showed he was a threat for the title and he is going to really frustrate Kenny during the match. We have witnessed what PAC can do against either of these stars in a one-on-one match. This match should be able to stay pretty clean thanks to all the parties involved having some friends to protect them from any outside activity. But, Kenny will find a way to snake his way into a win to continue his title reign.
Winner: Kenny Omega
