After a long-awaited period without full stadiums, the first-place Chicago White Sox will finally be able to host fans at full capacity starting June 25 against the Seattle Mariners.

Based on city and state official plans, the state of Illinois and the City of Chicago will fully move into Phase 5 of COVID-19 reopening this Friday, June 11.

This development eliminates capacity limits, which will allow the White Sox to accommodate 40,615 attendees per game at Guaranteed Rate Field as the club embarks on a playoff run. With the summer months here, full stands at baseball stadiums on both sides of town represent a major stride in the return to normalcy following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The White Sox will continue to operate at 60% capacity for their next five home games (June 9-10 vs. Toronto, June 14-16 vs. Tampa Bay).
