Just as other entertainment venues throughout Chicago drop capacity limits, so too will Soldier Field. Starting July 3, Soldier Field will be open for full capacity. This is welcome news for Chicago Fire fans who want to make it out to a game this summer.

John Urban, COO of the Chicago Fire, stated, “This is the moment fans, cities, players, and staff have been waiting for. It’s finally a chance to showcase the complete fan experience we’ve created inside and outside Soldier Field. We know that the stadium is full of energy and passion, offering players a special home-field advantage.”

Before Fire fans can catch games at full capacity, there are still a couple of Fire home games that will host a limited number of fans. The Chicago Fire take on FC Cincinnati on June 23 and Philadelphia Union on June 26. Tickets will go on sale for full-capacity Fire games on Tuesday, June 15 at 10 AM CT. We’ll see you there.
