The Chicago Bears and offensive tackle Teven Jenkins have agreed to terms on a rookie deal. Additionally, the Oklahoma State alum will officially sign his contract later today, per Ian Rapoport.
Nevertheless, Jenkins was the last remaining unsigned draftee from the Bears’ 2021 draft. Once he is signed it will be all systems go. Chicago traded up and drafted the offensive tackle on night two of the NFL Draft. Jenkins was one of the headlines from the draft alongside QB Justin Fields.
Soon after the draft, the Bears cut Charles Leno, which will thrust Jenkins into the starting lineup at left tackle.
