Chicago Bulls All-Star shooting guard Zach LaVine has committed to play in the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
The first-time NBA All-Star will be making his first appearance in the Olympics representing the United States of America. LaVine will join NBA stars Kevin Durant, James Harden, Devin Booker, and Damian Lillard among others. This is a huge opportunity for the 26-year-old two guard. LaVine has the opportunity to play with perennial All-Stars and build relationships with elite players around the league.
Zach LaVine is coming off his best statistical season as a pro as he averaged career highs in points (27.4 PPG), assists (4.9 APG), and rebounds (5.0 RPG). He also shot 50% from the field and 41% from downtown. LaVine is the first Chicago Bulls player since Jimmy Butler to represent the franchise on Team USA.
