The Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins will hold joint practices at Halas Hall this August. According to Adam Jahns, the two teams will have a couple of practices together before their August 14th preseason game. Obviously, the game will take place at Soldier Field.
Notably, the preseason game between the Bears and Dolphins is the first of three this year. Consequently, Miami will be the first opposing team for Justin Fields. In fact, earlier reports have Matt Nagy saying that Fields will get “a lot of work” during the preseason.
Nevertheless, the scheduled joint practice is a breath of fresh air. It serves as a reminder that post-pandemic life is quickly returning back to normal. As a result, the NFL was forced to cancel a joint practice between Chicago and Denver in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.
