Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams has been selected to the Team USA Select team. The Select team will train with Team USA in July to help them get ready for the Tokyo Olympics this summer. Patrick Williams was the fourth pick of the 2020 NBA Draft.
Williams will be joining Team USA guard Zach LaVine as the only Chicago Bulls in Las Vegas. The 19-year-old started all 71 games he played this year for the Chicago Bulls. Williams averaged 9.2 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 1.4 APG. He shot 48% from the field and 39% from downtown. Williams was often tasked with guarding the opposing teams’ best offensive player on a nightly basis, which will be beneficial for Team USA training.
