As the Chicago White Sox continue to hold onto first place in the American League Central and the national media continues to look the other way. However, the south side will get some air time on July 25 when they travel to Milwaukee to face the Brewers.
It was announced via social media today that the series finale between the two clubs will be played on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. The game’s first pitch has also been moved from 1:10 PM CDT to 6:08 PM CDT.
It’s a rare occasion that the White Sox get national television spots, but this bout features two teams who pitch extraordinarily well and play the game with passion. Fans are in for a treat with this July 25 affair.
The Brewers are one of MLB’s hottest teams at the moment. Their eight-game winning streak has carried them into first place by six games, going 9-1 in their last ten and sweeping the Chicago Cubs. At 48-33, Milwaukee has caught fire before the All-Star Break and has benefitted from an otherwise average offense scoring a ton of runs on their streak, including 15 tallies against the Cubs in their finale.
