Eloy Jimenez Homers in First Rehab Start

Eloy Jimenez wasted no time leaving the yard in the first game of his rehab stint.

When Eloy Jimenez said he feels ‘200%’, it was hard for many to take him seriously. Yet, he’s making quite a case that he’s feeling back to his normal self.

In his first official start since his injury in Spring Training, Jimenez has been absolutely crushing baseballs. His first two at-bats ended in hard-hit flyouts, but Eloy put the ball in play and singled in his third at bat.

Then, in his fourth at bat of the ballgame, Eloy hit an absolute rocket to left field.

It’s not clear how long the team plans on having Jimenez in the minors, but if this game is any indication, his return to the White Sox will come sooner rather than later.
