The Chicago Bears are holding their first practice today, a sign that training camp is officially underway. Head coach Matt Nagy revealed that a few players would be unavailable as the team hit the field while two others were also listed as “limited”.

Eddie Jackson (hamstring), Teven Jenkins (back), and Germain Ifedi (hip flexor) did not take the field, while Robert Quinn (back) and Bilal Nichols (toe) were limited participants. When providing the aforementioned names, Nagy mentioned that none of the injuries were serious in nature. In fact, he even stated he was not concerned about any of the ailments.

Regardless, one injury to keep a close eye on will be Robert Quinn’s, even though Nagy downplayed the severity of it. Quinn dealt with a nagging injury for most of the 2020 season, which hampered his ability to produce for the Bears. The 31-year-old outside linebacker has been dealing with the same back injury since June. That ailment kept him out of minicamp and continues to linger as training camp commences.
