According to Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com, Bears’ offensive lineman Teven Jenkins will miss his second straight practice with an apparent back injury.
It’s worth noting that training camp has only begun and this could be a precautionary measure. The rookie, who could potentially be the starting left tackle for the Bears, previously participated in rookie minicamp.
Today’s injury report also includes Eddie Jackson (hamstring) and Germain Ifedi (hip flexor) once again. Matt Nagy’s tone remains the same regarding those two players, describing the ailments as “not concerning.”
Today is the first day that fans can attend training camp at Halas Hall. The Bears have one gigantic obstacle in order to be competitive in 2021: health. If they can keep their players healthy, then they’re already in good shape to attack the uphill battle in front of them.
