The Chicago Bulls are bringing back guard Javonte Green on a two-year deal. The Bulls originally acquired Green in a three-team trade on March 25.
Green appeared in 16 games for the Bulls after coming over from the Boston Celtics. The combo-guard averaged 2.6 PPG, 0.4 APG, and 1.2 RPG in eight minutes per game with the Bulls. Green shot 45% from the field and 37% from three-point range in limited minutes.
Green is an athletic guard with a high motor. He makes his living by disrupting passing lanes and slashing to the rim. After going undrafted in 2015, Green spent time playing professionally in Europe before the Celtics rewarded him with a contract after his performance in the 2019 NBA Summer League.
