Bears Activate Three from COVID-19 List; One Still Left On

The Chicago Bears activated three players off the COVID-19 list including their backup tackle. However, one key defensive player remains on the list.

The Chicago Bears received some much needed good news today. The team announced that they are activating three players off the COVID-19 list.

As a result, Elijah Wilkinson, Christian Jones, and Patrick Scales will return to the team when practice resumes on Tuesday. This comes after all three landed on the COVID-19 list last week. Additionally, Eddie Goldman still remains on the list and has not been activated.

Nevertheless, the Bears will receive a much needed boost to their roster. The once depleted roster was down twenty-four players during training camp, including seven on the offensive line. Thus, the return of Wilkinson provides much needed help immediately.

Hopefully, for the Bears, this is the beginning of a flurry of good news on the health front. Surely they need it heading into their first preseason game.
