The Chicago Blackhawks signed forward Mike Hardman to a two-year contract extension Tuesday morning.

The contract extension will carry an $800K salary cap hit during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. The Blackhawks initially signed Hardman to a two-year deal out of Boston College on March 30, 2021. That contract carries a $912,500 cap hit during the 2021-22 season.

Hardman recorded three points (one goal, two assists) in eight games for the Blackhawks during the 2021 campaign.
